Google's place for Open Source software

Hay Guys,

Have u ever inspired by things done by Google?
I bet U were.

When one of my colleagues Buddhima shows me Picasa few months ago I really wondered how Google did that. It's really fast & most importantly not bothered other programs while running. I was really confused how they manage multiple threading.

Well Google have entered into the Open Source world by releasing some of their API's and projects to the public. May be U have heard of their Web Search API.

Hay I'm not saying u can find source codes of Picasa their. But u will surely find nice things including Google's Desktop Search API.
